Advanced Computer Applications (CAP 2000) is a 15-week course instructed by Dave Rice that is designed to provide an intermediate level examination of information systems/computer concepts and terminology with the intention of developing a mature level of computer and information literacy.
After successful completion of this course, I will be able to: (1) demonstrate advanced expertise in the use of MS Office '97 applications, (2) understand the basic concepts of Information Systems, (3) demonstrate a grasp of basic concepts of computer programming, (4) demonstrate sophistication in the use of WWW, (5) install effective communications strategies, and (6) be able to utilize electronic mail.

I am a second year student at International College studying Computer Science. Thus far, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and am on the Dean's list. It is my intent to graduate in the summer of 1999. I maintain a full-time job with our public school system and am the proud mother of a beautiful 5 year old girl.
